Our expertise and capability also enable us to perform pre-FID (pre-final investment decision) studies such as techno-economic feasibility studies, front end engineering design (FEED), technology selection studies, cost estimation studies. Additionally, we have expertise to carry out energy/process optimization studies and resolve various operational issues of the existing ammonia plants.

As a testimony to our in-depth experience and expertise in ammonia, we resolved the severe vibration problem faced by one of our esteemed clients Kanpur Fertilizer & Cement Limited (KFCL) in 10” and 12” pipe segments of CO2 removal section of its Ammonia plant located at Panki Industrial Area, Kanpur.

Satsha Management Services carried out the following study to resolve the said vibration problem.

i) Adequacy of pipe size and pipe thickness for the two pipe segments.
ii) The flow pattern in two-phase flow pipe segments.
iii) The possibility of relocating the control valves.
iv) The possibility of cavitation in two control valves on the two pipe segments.
v) Review of design of existing pipe supports.
vi) Review of existing stress analysis report.
vii) Carrying out stress analysis of the piping network consisting of the said pipe segments.
viii) Designing the adequate and effective pipe supports for the pipe segments
