LNG

In the field of LNG, we have the capability and expertise in pre-FID (pre-final investment decision) activities such as techno-economic feasibility studies, front end engineering design (FEED), technology selection study, cost estimation study, concept development study. Our capability also involves detailed engineering of LNG production facilities based on FEED or BEP provided by the client.

As natural has to be cooled to -160 deg C at atmospheric pressure for liquefaction, it requires refrigeration process to liquefy natural gas. Therefore, various technologies exist for natural gas liquefaction depending upon type of refrigeration process and/or composition of the refrigerant. And one of the key aspects of designing a natural gas liquefaction facility is the selection of technology for natural gas liquefaction.

The most commonly used liquefaction technologies are SMR (single mixed refrigerant), C3-MR (mixed refrigerant with propane precooling), C3-MR-N2 (C3-MR with separate N2 subcooling), optimized cascade process, DMR (dual mixed refrigerant) and expansion-based processes. Out of those, that technology has to be selected for a new liquefaction facility which results into overall cost optimization considering a trade-off between capital cost on one hand and energy efficiency on the other. Satsha Management has the expertise to select a liquefaction technology which results into most optimum cost of production.
